Francky L Jeanty

Francky attended Edward Waters University in 2004 and began to work on addressing some of the campus issues such as student safety. In 2003 there was a major incident that took place on campus and Francky came to the campus. As a student in 2004 and saw that campus safety needed to be a priority. During this time at Edward Waters University he was able to spearhead a student safety initiative as the founding chapter member Co-chair for SHADCO (Sheriff Advising Counseling) with the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office. In collaboration with John Rutherford who was the sheriff at the time, police presence became consistently present on the school campus after working closely with SHADCO. The police substation was created and located in zone 5 on the Edward Waters University campus. In 2008 before he graduated he along with John Rutherford organized a walk to ensure public police presence on the campus and the community surrounded the campus and the local neighboring community.

 

Due to his passion for education he went on to become an admissions counselor at Edwards Waters University and Keiser University. As an admissions counselor Francky was able to assist many high school students and parents on how to navigate all the new challenges that came with being a college student. He traveled locally, nationally, and internationally not only recruiting students but also offering ongoing support as they transitioned into first year college students.

 Francky graduated from Edward Waters University with his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, currently attending Bellevue University for his master’s in administrative justice and became the founder and CEO of 7 Second College Consulting, LLC. He is still assisting local and international high school students at the churches and within the community with the admissions process. He is also the author of the book “Transformation to Greatness” where he talks about high journey into the becoming who he is today.
